Excuse me, Qu-what ? What does the word "qutep" mean? It is obviously a made-up word and it was born a long time ago. I was joking with a friend about some rag doll sold for quite an expensive price, saying that they weren't worth it and even I could do better with my own line. I started drawing on the spot how my dolls would look like. Then I though that the only thing they were missing was a name. Talking with my friend, I came out with "qutep", which is actually a compression of the sentence "quello che te pare". In italian, or better in roman, it stands for "as you like it"/"whatever you prefer". It was very random and it was born as a joke, but I though you might also read the beginning of Qutep as the word "cute"... and I grew fond of this name as the time passed by, so I just decided to keep it for my portfolio☆.
